Old Black & Whites

Maddie at Oak St. beach at Lake Michigan.

Tree bark. Sooooo exciting, I know.

Gabe hiking the wilderness aka a forest preserve on a photo class field trip.

Max using his magical powers to stand like this in water. HAH jkjk. It's called stop action in the photography world. Stop. That. Action, yall.

A tree. Suuuuuper interesting. NOT.

On a school bus, with rainy windows. Oh, and and someone's elbow.

I wish this said "IMAHO" aka "I am a ho." Sadly it asks other drivers how this bus is driving. Tots lame.

I Left My Heart In Chicago

Downtown Chi-city

Ramp of the El

Chicago river

Oak Park! I really like the colors in this one.

Katrina making faces at me.

Nico and Nina. Sultry.

Jenny dancing at her rave birthday party in her basement. Jeaaaalous.

Oh, Hiiiii Greer !

Children at the Contemporary Art Museum whispering very loudly.

Stairwell at the museum. Look all the way down and you'll find fishies!

Nico riding the El into the city.

Nina and me. (My hair is so short!) We were in Grant Park waiting for the movie to start. I miss summer outings in the city.

K so I know sunsets are boring, but whatevs, IIIIII like this one. And if you don't..

There's this one for ya! YAAAAY Chicago at night!

Leah's apartment/bedroom. I absolutely love giant windows. Lovelovelovelove.

Nico on the roof of his loft making wonderful films with his handy-dandy camera and probably giving me attitude based on his expression at this moment.

Yet another skyline.

Winter Holiday 2008

Cooking xmas breakfast with mama. In this photo are soon to be scrambled eggs and biscuits. Delish beyond belief.

Look at what Santa brought me! This isn't any regular umbrella. IT'S TRANSPARENT! Now thats pretty cool, donchya think? It doesn't rain much in Arizona, but it looks exactly like an umbrella I cherished when I was a little kid. AND it matches well with my rain boots. (What 20 year old has rain boots that matches their ultra cool umbrella? I'm gonna guess and say, not too many.)

After xmas with my p-rents, I flew "home" to Chicago. Yay! Naturally, me and my friends had a pot luck dinner and secret santa. (You don't have to admit it, but I know you're gonna be jealousssssss. Ready? Go!)

To start things off, lets dance.

Luke and me.  You can stare, its alright, we are use to it. Thats how it is when you are a local OP celeb.

Nico and Max aka some of New York's finest gentlemen. Call me ;)

So, you're probably wondering what the heck this is. Wood? Yarn? Beads? Yes, its all of those things. Its also what I got for secret santa. Thanks Abby. We had a theme of cheap presents aka we are broke ass college students. Lets just say that Abby had the best interpretation of a cheap present. I haven't laughed that hard since I opened that gift.

Us.

Hogan and Max.

Hogan is a dancer. Like a real, live dancer. Hubbard Street. Look him up, bitches.

Did I mention, we like to dance? Well, umm, we do.

Abby got tired so she decided to take a nap on the kitchen counter top.

Max's family were nice enough to let me stay at there beautiful home for awhile. Love you Janowski/Hartman's ! We all went ice skating at Millinium Park. Woooo, that was an experience. I sure am not too good with ice skates. Espesh when they are tied to my ankles.

Top floor of MARSHAL FEILDS. (Macys, suck it.)

Max has very handy straps that allow him to carry his heavy winter coat on his back, kinda like a backpack. What a nifty fellow.

Max's cat Toby. He likes to hop in the tub while I prepare my face for the day.

Oh heeeeeey, its just me and Toby hanging out.

Maddie and her fam also let me stay at their wonderful house. Love you also! We watched tons of Mad Men eps (aka all of season 1 AND 2). This is Maddie and Oscar just chillin, being bad-asses, the usual.

My boo boo Nina. Perfect photo of our New Years 09, if I do say so myself.

Celebrating 2009 !!

Mexico

Kyle in our very cool condo in Rocky Point. You can't tell from this photo but the beach is just outside in the back. Jeeeeeaaaalous.

Me and the boys driving around. Oh, hey dirt roads and wild dogs, wuddup Rocky Point. Aka hey ghetto.

"Downtown" area of Rocky Point. Aka white people, stores full of fake purses and sunglasses, and children begging for money.

This adorable little boy was holding up a toothbrush.

He has a handmade paper boat and bucket of water, smart kid.

He was selling Chicklets. We asked him how old he was and he held up his hand. Cute five
year-old.

Playing in the water, wishing my backyard was an ocean instead of rocks.

Tide pulled back and lots of big rocks were exposed, so naturally, we went for a stroll.

The boys.

Had to take a photo of the outrageously beautiful sunset. Cliche, I know. Bite me.

Kyle driving us home. Goodbye ocean! Hello desert.
